The North and South Sister are just a two of the great beauties that Central Oregon has to offer.

Kirk Kolby, a blogger, photographer, hiker and master outdoors man has set out to complete 100 hikes and 7,000 trail miles  by 2014. After completing the Pacific Crest Trail, Kirk is now looking to fill his time with many more hikes and trail miles.

Mike Arrera looks out at the view from atop the Black Butte mountain. Matt, a hiker in training, made the trek up the Black Butte trail on Sunday, Nov 4th. He carried a pack weighed down by books to help him train for upcoming hikes. He managed to make the hike in two hours and forty-five minutes.
